My name is Nettie Paisley. I began my career as a Business Education Teacher. Moving forth from classroom teaching in 2002, I opened a holistic boutique and wellness center in Brooklyn for four years called the Southern Comforts. Holistic Boutique and Wellness Center.
The holistic boutique introduced me to many ancient and natural health practices. I was inspired to learn and grow, give and receive with an open heart and I became a Reiki Master. After closing the store, I became a wellness consultant. Also, I created an
e-Blast support system to share an abundance of events, jobs and referrals regarding a broad spectrum of resources.
Spiritual Growth: Ordained as an Interfaith Minister after two years of spiritual boot camp helped me to learn how to hold space and be of service to others. I am open and comfortable working with people regardless of religion (or not), beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, class, age, etc. To be of service, provides me with a profound natural appreciation for the many human paths and the ability to utilize empathy, compassion and the nonjudgmental open heart. This concept is Ubuntu, at its best, inspiring all people to uplift, reciprocate and love as humans are naturally supposed to do!
Energy Work: After years of practice with Reiki, I began to discover similarities between the breathing patterns of Reiki, Six Qigong Healing Sounds, Meditation and Chair Yoga. The natural breathing pattern is seamless and flows effortlessly. As a professionally trained teacher, it was a natural process to teach myself to create energy classes, sessions and workshops. I infuse all my services with what I call "The Reiki Flow" . The healing, beauty and peace of the Flow is valued by all who receive it.
